DEACON RICHARD E., Sr.
Age 71, of the Hill District, passed away on June 20, 2016. Son of the late Thurston and Ella Mae Mosley; husband of Jewel L. Mosley; father of James Bogus, Emanuel Smith, Anthony Anderson, Richard E., Jr., Stephanie, Michael and Angela Mosley, Rachelle Loyd, Erika Mosley Fancher, Latosha Mosley, Leonardo, Letonio and Lemont Morand, William Alvin Hopkins and the late Sabrina Mosley; brother of Karen Womack (Calvin), Marlene Davis, and the late Thurston L., Kenneth C. and Linda R. Mosley; also survived by a host of grand and great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation on Friday, June 24, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. in the SAMUEL J. JONES FUNERAL HOME, 2644 Wylie Ave. Funeral Service on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Central Baptist Church, 2200 Wylie Ave., Pgh., PA 15219. Interment Monday, June 27, 2016, at 12:30 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF RICHARD.... MAY GOD GIVE YOU PEACE AND COMFORT...I GREW UP WITH THE MOSLEY'S ON KIRKPATRICK STREET...LIVING ACROSS THE STREET FROM THEM... I WAS AT THEIR HOUSE QUITE A BIT...I WAS ALWAYS WELCOMED BY MRS. ELLA MAE AND THURSTON..AND GRAMMA AND GRAN PAP...AND OF COURSE THEIR COLLIE CHRIS...MY OLDER SISTER AND KAREN HUNG OUT TOGETHER...THEY ALWAYS OFFERED ME SOMETHING TO EAT BECAUSE THAT'S HOW THEY WERE...LOVING AND GENEROUS...ME AND MARLENE ARE THE SAME AGE AND SHE CALLED ME "MICH MAC" BECAUSE OF HOW I DRESSED...HAHAHA...I WAS ALWAYS INVITED TO THEIR CHURCH ON BELINDA STREET TO HEAR THEM SING..ESPECIALLY MARLENE...AS YOU CAN SEE...I WAS VERY MUCH A PART OF THE FAMILY...LOVE ALWAYS...JACKIE WILLIS (FREEMAN)
