I can't believe it's been a year since my friend left this world to embark on a new adventure. There isn't a day I don't think of him as many of my everyday sayings were a result of meeting him years ago. One year ago a big angel was born. Till we see each other again my friend .

Meeting Rick only once, at Margaret's retirement party, I most remember his charming smile. My deepest admiration goes out to Laura, Cindy and Margaret for the love and support they gave Rick in the final months of his life. The strength they gave each other is beyond my ability to properly write about, but I am sure it sustained Rick.

Rick, you gave me a work ethic like no other you cared and gave me a chance when I was still trying to figure out life and knowing what my next step was. You were the one responsible for starting my career in Hollywood and I thank you so much for that. I will never forget whenever I tell my story on how I started. Because of you I went from Hollywood to the music industry into digital media and back. Because of you is why I met an extended family that I am still in contact with in that industry. You gave me a chance when nobody else wanted to. Even though we lost contact through the years due to our careers/schedules I never forgot where I came from and till we meet again I will always pay homage to you. The world has lost a Great man and I have lost a GREAT friend. Rick and I met on Desperate Housewives transportation crew when we were lucky enough that our boss Bo Ehrig decided to put him on our trailer movement crew. The first day we met we liked each other to which Rick responded "what's not to like?" Anytime somebody asked a question that I didn't know the answer to my response quite often was "thats a Rick Napoli question" that's how smart he was. He was way ahead of his years. As I think back I could have spent more time with my friend Rick. I thank God that I had him as my Friend. Rick will always be my friend and one day I will spend some time with him again. I want to thank Cindy and Joe for creating such a good person. They say that the apples don't fall far from the tree and apparently they didn't with Rick. God Bless Rick and enjoy the ride my friend. Chooowww!!! for now my friend, until we meet again.

It was 1986, Rick Napoli was 10 years old, we met on a Wm. S. Hart baseball team, the White Sox. Cindy was our Team Mom, we won the Mustang American League Championship! That was nothing compared to the new friendship at hand. It wasn't long our parents made fun of us as the smorgasborg brothers, go figure. Its been forever ago since those days, but seems so recent. Rick introduced me to Beastie Boys, baseball cards, and a few things better left out....Years later, there was a time when Rick Napoli, Randy Roa, and myself were a 3-pack. I will never forget riding bikes and stopping at Hughes Market for donut holes on the way to Placerita J.H. every school day! Rick, I love you like a brother, you taught me so much over the years. I'm going to miss you forever! Cindy and Joe, I'm so sorry. I love you guys! Laura, you made Rick's life complete. I'm sorry for your huge loss. Thank you friends and family for letting me share.
