Dear Karen, Katie, and Conor,
Our sincere sympathy on the loss of a Truly wonderful loving husband and father. This is a tremendous loss not only to all of you, but also to his many friends, relatives and colleagues. Richard was that rare and positive individual who did not harbor and ill feelings toward anyone and did not allow his HIGH position and TALENTS to swell his psyche . He was indeed a great person who radiated that upbeat IRISH spirit and zest for life, family, church and country.
His kind and caring ways are cherished by all with whom he associated.
We are deeply appreciative of his and his families closeness to us, our children, and also to several neighbors here on Cape Cod. We will always cherish his upbeat and positive friendship toward us here on the Cape. Richard took time to tell us that he loved working for FOX TV. His talking of the TV station brought many new viewers to FOX TV.
We feel your great loss and since we first heard of this great tragedy, we have shed many tears, and said many prayers.
Once again in this time of great sorrow we renew our love and prayers to all of you.
