I worked with Rick for the better part of 8 years over at the guardhouse @ Reichhold in Morris...a fellow co worker had emailed me of Rick's passing.
We had an interesting 'life' in the guardhouse-us both being each other's relief for so many times.
It was sad to hear of his passing-but at the same time (as I've been around him in his sufferings of arthritis/etc) now he can finally walk without pain-and see his Angela again.
God speed bud!
and to your dad too!-sorry I was not aware of Glen's passing...now you are all together w/o pain!

Dad-
I miss you everyday. I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish always.. Like all are trips to chicago, teaching me how to shoot a basketball the correct way as you would put it, My first White Sox game and many more... but nothing adds up to the last two years when you let me take care of you.. Even though it was rough for the both of us at times i wouldn't trade the last two years for anything.. I love you with all my heart.. Be a peace with god, grandpa, and Angela daddy..
Love Always

Joanne, Laura, and family, I am so sorry for your loss and also for Glenn's passing last year. I just happened to come across this today as I was looking at my mom's obituary in the Morris Herald. As you may have seen, she passed away this week also, on the first anniversary of my dad's passing. I remember you very well from when we all lived in the apartments on Liberty Street oh so long ago. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Rick was a dear friend to our entire family. We loved watching him grow up in our neighborhood. Rick was a great athlete and I will never forget his awesome dives from the highest diving board at the Morris pool.
Love and sympathy to your entire family.
