Richard PITMAN Obituary
June 25, 1921 – February 11, 2015
Dick passed away at home at the age of 93 on February 11. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maureen, his children, Sian (Ian), Geoffrey (Catherine), Caitlyn (Roger) and Robert (Lisa), and his eight grandchildren. Dick was predeceased by his parents, his brother Rob, and his eldest son, Mark. Dick will be remembered for his three main passions: medicine, family, and his vegetable garden. The family would like to thank all the care workers and nurses from North Shore Palliative Care, as well as the nurses from the Evergreen Nursing Services. They all made his last months peaceful. Dick was a private man and has requested no funeral service.

I have just heard of Dick's passing Maureen and my prayers are pouring out to God for you and all the children. Right now I'm sure that Dick and Joe are having
a great reunion with lots of laughter.( " it's not Debakey,it's DeBerky)! We missed you a lot when we left. He was the best at everything.
