RANDAZZO, Richard on November 14, 2014. Beloved son of Frank and Cora. Loving brother of Frank and brother-in-law of Pam. Dear uncle of Audrey, Louisa and Francis. Richie is survived by many loving friends and was a great friend to many. Reposing Saturday, 7 - 9:30 and Sunday, 2-5 & 7-9:30 at the CUSIMANO & RUSSO FUNERAL HOME, 2005 West 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Monday, 11:45 am at Sts. Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Avenue T & Lake Street, Brooklyn. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Richie's memory. https://donate.cancer.org/index

To Frank & Cora, you raised a good man. Richie was a selfless, compassionate, witty, meticulous brave person. I will miss the way he made me laugh. I am so proud and happy to have had him in my life. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. My deepest condolences

Dear Frank and Cora / Frankie and Pam. My heart goes out to you. Richie was very special to Janet and me. He treated our children like he was their big brother. Through good and difficult times Richie always displayed his big kind generous heart. I close my eyes and see this wonderful kid washing himself with soap under the fire hydrant during our block party and bugging Sadie to bathe. Man did he have a sense of humor. Cora/Frank I love you guys my memories with you will never fade. I pray that God will grant you his peace in your time of mourning. My heart is breaking for you. Love you guys.

Richie, we are going to miss your good mornings on west 4th! I will miss seeing you outside for alternate side while everyone is chit chatting with you. I am so thankful I was able to visit and my children got to meet you. As I write this I am remembering as a child how you would take me and my brother to do fun things, like magic stores, Nelly Bly and getting in trouble on the CB. As a mom it surprises me that my mother let you take us. Yet one of the many memories of you growing up was how my mom loved you. l remember her always coming to your defense and talking about your gentle, good, kind heart. To me you were like an older brother who nagged me, made me laugh and defended me. When I grew up and moved away, I always knew I had a safe place to visit, that you would give me a good well needed dose of reality. You always made me laugh and your laugh was contagious. When I came to know The Lord my heart was burdened for you and the life you were in. Knowing that our Lord is faithful and brought you through hell, to be able to enjoy your family, and life was a huge answer to prayer. It saddens me most for the ones who will not see you each day, but is gives me much joy to know you are with The Lord. You get to be with my mom, and so many other loved ones who are waiting for us. My prayer is for your family. Frank, Cora, Frankie, Pam, May God strengthen you with his perfect peace and comfort. To know this is the beginning and not the end. I love you guys!!! Wish I could be there to give you all huge hugs!!

"So many memories come to me when I think back, all of the West 4th street block parties that we had and many others. I remember Richie would say to me, when your family moved in next door you were a little 3 year old riding your bike. We were neighbors and shared the driveway with the Randazzo family. I can remember all of the family parties in the backyard. Cora, Frank, Frankie and Pam, sorry for the loss of such a good person Richie my West 4th street pal."
