Mayor Reiner still is in our thoughts. There was no individual that helped us more and did what Mayor Reiner did for us to get us started in married life. He was like an angel from heaven the very first day we met him selling lots in ?Appaloosa woods. Our love for him and his wonderful wife, Mitty will be with us forever. We love you both with forever. God Bless. Gary and Shirley Pederson, formally of Maple Grove but now from Little River SC

Mitzi, I am sorry for your loss of a long time love and friend. My delight in knowing Dick started with our first class reunion. I looked forward to seeing you both at succeeding events. I also feel a loss in Dick's death. Mary

We both send our sincere loving thoughts to you Mitzi. Dick was a special person to know. His drumming was always a steady support to those of us who performed with him. His warmth of personality was a joy. Fondly,

What a life he led and lead he did. His accomplishments will be remembered as long as there is a Maple Grove. The twinkle in his eyes, his love of music and being a driving force within the Lions, his faith & the care & devotion to his family all speak to a filled 89 years of living the good life. It was a pleasure to know him, I will treasure my memories ~ Mitzi & family ~Thank you for sharing him with so many

There are so many remembrances of Dick for us....such enthusium he had for life. We watched through the pidgeons, the stamp collecting{ even got me interested in that} the Hummels, the canteloupes and the wild flower garden. I"m sure there were more "projects" as he was always involved in something, and we feel blessed to have known him.

Mayor Reimer was respected, and generous with his time and city know-how. He helped my parents in establish their business in Maple Grove in the 1960's. He will always be remembered as THE mayor of Maple Grove! Our condolences to his family on their loss of a husband, father, and grandfather.

My father Edwin Hempel lived in the same neighborhood as Richard as children. Dad always told us about the fond memories he had of growing up and the good times they had together. I imagine they are both up in Heaven laughing and talking of old times right now. My deepest sympathies and thoughts go out to Mizi and family.
