Rick fought a long hard battle ....but the VICTORY is his now !!! I know A.Annie was waiting at Heaven's Gate. Although I didn't get to see Rick as much as I would have liked to....I know he was one of the smartest young men I've ever known ! RIP Rick !

Rick was one of the brightest men I knew. Even as a child, his curiosity about how and what made things work were so important to him. I remember once, as a toddler, he picked all the flowers from his grandma's flower beds. He had them all in a pile using his shirt to carry them in, and presented them to us, so proudly. He began to show us how each one was different, and what they were called. I think he made some of the names up, but was so serious about it, his grandma could not get mad about all her flowers being picked. We will miss you, Rick. Go fly with your mama now, and we'll all see you again one day, when we'll never part.

"Risch" as we called him could tell more good stories and share more useful information than anyone I ever worked with. I hope someday to hear him again and fix the "unfixable" things we must deal with as craftsmen.
