Richard Jason "Richie" Rodgers, 47, died peacefully on January 9, 2019 while under hospice care.

He was born on October 5, 1971 in Kansas City, MO the son of Richard and Linda (Boston) Rodgers. He graduated from Oak Park High School in 1990. He was married to Rebecca "Becky" Woody in 1992. In 1996 after moving to Lathrop, MO he began working for Major Brands Inc. The couple welcomed two children into their home.

Richard is survived by his mother, Linda Linder; wife, Becky Rodgers; children, Keri Rodgers and Samantha Rodgers; brothers, Steve Rodgers and Jeff Rodgers; and sister, Sherri Rodgers.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vivian Boston; and his father, Richard Rodgers.

In addition to flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to National Brain Tumor Society: 55 Chapel Street, Suite 200 Newton, MA 02458.
