Richard Hollas Rogge, 29, of Richmond, passed away February 27, 2011. He will always be in our hearts along with memories of the love and support he showered upon his family. A tireless worker with a contagious smile to light up any room, he blessed many with his unique gift to always make others laugh. Richard was also a passionate and devoted Aggie who carried the spirit and traditions in his daily life. He enjoyed Texas A&M and Houston Texans football, hunting and fishing. Richard was born December 17, 1981 in Houston, to Richard "Rick" Thomas Rogge and Connie Hollas Rogge. Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert F. Hollas and Richard W. and Bonnie J. Rogge. He is survived by his parents, Rick and Connie Rogge; siblings, Michael Rogge and wife, Staci, Shelley Rogge and Christine Rogge; grandmother, Earline Hollas; along with numerous loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Richard's life will be held at 10:00 A. M., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond with Father Howard Drabek and Father William D. Bartniski officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M., on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. Deacon Don Murrile will officiate the rosary service beginning at 7:00 P. M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Texas A&M Foundation, 401 George Bush Drive, College Station, Texas, 77840.
