Age 73, passed on Friday, May 12, 2017. Beloved husband of Judith (Kowaleski - Zimmick); loving father of Cherrie Rutkowski, Laurie Suddreth (Steve), Richelle Tobias (Christopher) and Richard Rutkowski, Jr.; Pap Rich to Stephanie, Kevin, Logan, Kayley and Rachel; stepparent to Christine Young (Bill), Donald M. Zimmick (Chris) and Kelly Hessert (Larry); Pap Pap to Ryley and Teiran; grandpa to Jacob and Jordan; brother of Frank, Arthur and Joseph Rutkowski. Family and friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. TUESDAY at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 334 Forest Grove Rd., Kennedy Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Family Hospice & Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.

I worked with Rich at Howser & Carafas in the early 1960's. I remember he said he was a graduate of Langley High School. Rich always had a smile on his face and was a great guy. I know he is in heaven.
