As a new nurse at TMC I watched as Dr Sanderson did a coronary bypass graft surgery on a patient.
I stood on a foot stool at the head of the patient looking down into the chest. Dr Sanderson explained everything that I watched. He said to me "If you are going to faint, faint backwards." I will always be grateful for the experience.

Tucson has lost a real gem when I read that Dr. Sanderson pasted. A wonderful man, Dr. and family man. Loved when he came in my restaurant to celebrate with his family on special occasions. He will be missed.

Sanderson Family,
Mu Deepest Condolences to all of you . I met you shortly after you moved to Tucson while working at La Fuente. He was so proud of his children and had such a smile and wit about him.I enjoyed seeing you a couple of times a month. He was a Superior Doctor and Dad. I remember those color full Jackets as well.
