Simmet, Capt. Richard F. "Dick" 1929-2009. Retired Northwest Airlines Captain of Willis, TX & Brainerd, MN (formerly Eden Prairie), flew west Feb. 17, 2009. Born in Mpls. 6/22/1929. Preceded in death by wife, Corrine; son, Mark. Survived by wife, Linda; sister, Jeannie Beeman; daughters, Sharon Holley, Colleen Goodney, Valerie Burke & Eileen Simmet; stepsons, Richard & James Smith; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons. Capt. Simmet retired in 1989 from Northwest Airlines with 41-1/2 yrs. of service, he owned & operated Eden Prairie Body Shop for 30 yrs until 1990. His hobby was showing his prize Dobermans in the obedience ring. Memorial services were held Feb. 21, 2009 in Willis, TX. Military burial service will be held Fri., July 10, 2009 at 11 am at Ft. Snelling Nat'l Cemetery, assembly area #4. Enter thru Gate 2.

Fran and I were sorry to see Dick's obit in todays paper. We miss not seeing you both as you pass this way going to your northern home. Our thoughts are with you. Peace.
