Richard Hyde Skillin

Back in the '80's and '90's, "the two Richards" --- i.e., Mr. Burns and Mr. Skillin --- were always exceptionally pleasant and accommodating to me when I wanted to make stereo cassette recordings of the lovely Ocean Park concerts and partake of other favorite vacation activities. Richard was smilingly friendly and attentive, so it was a real pleasure to interact with him. It's really too bad that I am in New Mexico right now to visit my elderly sister for this month, or I would certainly make a special trip to attend his funeral, even though Ocean Park is about 200 miles from Jonesport --- that's how special he was to me.
