Many fond memories, too many to mention with Richard Sullivan and family starting at a very young age. My first time catching a big blue in Groton!, My first lobster! Turkey fire on Thanksgiving! ect. Richard did a lot of good things for people. Very kind and generous. RIP Uncle Sully.

Farewell my lifelong friend and former partner-in-crime on the Finance Committee. I will never forget all the fun adventures we had with Bea and Carol in the red Rolls.

My thoughts and sympathy to the family,

We offer our condolences and prayers to the Sullivan family during your time of mourning. We celebrate with you the memory and recognition of Mr. Richard Sullivan, who impacted countless individuals in countless ways.

We value the opportunity to have worked together with Mr. Sullivan and will remember his kindness and care for others. In particular, we celebrate his total commitment to the firefighters, policemen, and other public workers through our work together.

We appreciate his service to our country. We will always remember him for his kindness to people around him. In particular, he interceded on behalf of a pregnant waitstaff at a local restaurant. He provided support so that she would not need to endanger herself and her child by carrying heavy trays. As in so many ways, he cared deeply about others and was committed to doing something to help them.

We appreciate him for his humor, his love for the color red, whether it was for red cars, red tools in his garage, or for our mutually beloved Red Sox. He was a pillar of our community and we offer our full respect. Rest in peace.

Came to know Richard and Carol (the warden) while employed at Longmeadow CC. Our age gap never mattered. Our professional relationship - employee of the club and member of the club never mattered. We were immediate friends. A more generous and genuine gentleman one could not meet. Richard was kind to me and my family. I especially enjoyed his sense of humor. Fond memories of Richard with his chauffeur cap on driving his red Rolls with Carol my wife Denise my visiting mother and me going out for dinner heading up route 91. The world was a better place with Richard. May he rest in peace.

Richard was most influential in our business success. He taught the principle that customers will seek you out if you offer the best quality and he was right. Personally, he was a good friend in so many ways, generous, light hearted and supportive. Richard can Rest In Peace knowing so many loved him as we did.

Condolences to the entire Sullivan family. I caddied for Mr. Sullivan approximately twice a week through high school and most of college in the late 1990s/early 2000s. He was always extremely generous and we enjoyed many laughs out on the golf course. Additionally, my family and I had the joy of playing with Mr. Sullivan at La Costa while vacationing in California. I was saddened to learn of his passing and he will be deeply missed.
