Richard Kay "Dick" Swartzell

Richard was one my "transport" people with Cancer Connection.
We developed a special bond when he mentioned he had repaired the hospital elevator in my home town (Wauseon).
I loved taking him and Joanne to his appointments.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
Condolences and happy memories to you all.

I had the honor of driving Richard to some of his chemo appointments. He and Joanne were wonderful people, always entertaining and plenty of stories. We also made a connection when he mentioned he maintained the elevators in my home town, Wauseon.
I did not know of his passing until I asked about him yesterday.
I am so sorry-this world lost another angel.

Mr. Swartzell will be missed. I have a lot of happy memories of parties, dinners, pain killers and margaritas! What a great guy. Instead of a stairway to heaven, I'm sure he's taking an elevator!

Joanne, Janis, Kendall, Rick -- Giovanna and I send our love and sympathy. Dick was such a kind, generous, warm person. MV's best grandpa. He will be remembered and missed.

I'm saddened to read of Dick's passing. I had the privilege of working with Dick on many occasions and as a result learned much about the industry and people. He will be missed.
