My thoughts and prayers are with the Tyer family. Dr.Tyer will be greatly missed, there will never be another like him.

Dr Tyer has been my Doctor for 40 years. My heart is hurting. My prayers are with all the family.

Our prayer is for God give you comfort during this time. Dr. Tyer was a wonderful man and doctor, my mother and aunt loved him dearly and share in time of grief.

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD MY THOUGHTS TO THE CHORUS OF PRAISE FOR THE LIFE OF DR. TYER. DR. TYER WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PHYSICIANS TO BEFRIEND ME WHEN I CAME TO TYLER ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO. INVITED TO HIS HOME, HE TREATED ME LIKE A FAMILY ON MANY OCCASIONS. I REMEMBER THE GREAT SMILE AND THE HUGE INTELLECT.
I HOPE MY PHYSICIAN SON WILL BE LIKE DR TYER.

Mary Lou, I'm praying for you and all your family. I will also light a candle when I go to Mass Sunday. This is a hard loss. I'm 95 now and couldn't be at the funeral. But I'm thankful that I knew this great man.

Dr. Tyer was such a Blessing to us. Bob was very sick and it was by The Grace of God and Extraordinary Medical Care from Dr. Tyer that Bob is still here with us. Truly Grateful. The Family is in our Prayers.

Dr.Tyer had been my physician for many years. He was not just my doctor but considered a friend. I will miss him dearly and it will be hard to find someone to replace him. My heart and sympathy goes out to his family. May you find peace in knowing he's with our Lord now.

Gods blessings to the entire Tyer families....I had the pleasure of working with Dr Tyer at Mother Frances from 1969 until i retired in 2000. Then i would see him most mornings at Mass before he headed to work.Will miss him ........Billi Jean Mortenson( he knew me as Twiggy)
