Richard Arlin Upp

Richard Arlin Upp passed away 1/8/25 where he resided in Berkley, Michigan. He lived a very full life of 91 years. His end days were joyful and ambitious, surrounded by family, and lived as he had lived his life - colorful and proud. Richard was an entrepreneur of many businesses and a true adventurer. He was the owner of Cline Tire Service in Mason, Michigan for 40 years. He had his pilot's license and was passionate about flying. He appreciated nature, traveling, and had tremendous compassion for animals. As a father he instilled courage, strength and independence with a strong emphasis on the importance of education. He was determined and strong willed and no matter the circumstances, he found humor, fun, and always enjoyed a good laugh. Anyone wishing to honor his memory can contribute to the Michigan Humane Society.
