Dear Carol,
Although I have not kept in touch with your family I still think of you often and appreciate the loving kindness you have always shown me. I was saddened to hear about Dick. Please give my condolences to your family.
Sincerely,
Penny Moak Fergusson

Dear Carol,
You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear husband. I have thought of you often over the years and want to take this opportunity to say that my memories are always pleasant ones of you. It's been many years since we were together, but I always remember your kindness and the cooking tip you gave me--more than 2 cups of water can be added to a box of jello, if desired, to extend its quantity.
May your faith sustain you in this difficult time of sorrow and may you be reminded that others care for you.
Sincerely, Carolyn (Moak)Holdren
(My first married name was Trewatha which it was when I last saw you.
My sister, Penny Fergusson, sent me news of Richard's passing via email.)
