Dr. Richard WINNICK

I just now heard about Rich's untimely death. We had been friends for 42 years. We both had our first taste of theatre in Bob Beattie's theatre arts class. I can only hope that you & Giannotti are togeather plotting once again. Barb

Richard, A Colleague, a friend, a director, an artist. Thanks for the many memories of our shared experiences in groups, in supervision and in life.
May you rest knowing your presence in this world touched many lives and we are the richer for having known you.

Richard, thank you for giving me my first chance to act in a Walterdale play. Meeting you so long ago during a Citadel Theatre Acting class helped me to enjoy theatre so much. Your accomplishments in theatre will be a huge part of your legacy. I am deeply sorry to see you go so soon.

Honoured to have worked with Richard at Walterdale Playhouse - the theatre community lost an amazing contributor, director and friend. We have gained through his life outstanding theatre, mentorship, laughter and friendship. His legacy will carry on through all whose lives he touched.

I've known richard for many years and worked with him in Mental health.But I especially enjoyed seeing the plays he directed at the Fringe and in Spruce Grove. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
