Although I knew Richard most of my life the last time I saw him was at his Dad's wake many years ago. I recently was talking to him on Facebook and he mentioned he wanted to put together a neighborhood reunion. Richard never mentioned his illness to me. I'm just leveled by this news. Everyone I've spoken to all feel the same. I just want his family to know he left a lifetime impression on everyone who knew him. From an old friend that never really saw him in our adults lives there is a massive void in my heart as real tears rolled down my face. Rest easy my friend. One day we will meet again and have an eternity to catch up. God Bless your whole family...
