When I heard the news of Rick's passing, I was reminded of the joy I used to have when we played pool in his basement in Zanesville. He would win more games than he lost. God bless you, Jean and Jana. Rick was a shining light in a dark world.

Rick - I will always remember you as a friend I am so thankful to have had in my life.
On several occasions through the years I'd recall your determination and matter-of-fact assessments of situations to serve as inspiration to me.
You were at times both a confidant and the one to keep me in check as only Jana's big brother could. I thank you for all the memories sir and Godspeed to you on this new journey you've begun.

I'll always remember the help Rick gave to my mother with all her mail and magazines when she was still alive. Since I moved here, Rick has always been helpful and always had a smile and a good word. Jerry and I will miss him riding his bike through the area. May God hold him in his arms and bless you in this time of sorrow.

Jean, I just read Rick's obit, and I am thinking of you and your family. I remember you and your family when I was very young. My Dad worked for your Dad and I remember when you married and had kids. Prayers to you and your family and you have an angel in heaven. Maxine Lyon Watkins

Sorry for your loss. My twin brother and I went to the first 4 years of school with Rick. At Wilson School he was always fun to be with.

Always looked forward to seeing Rick during visits with Mom. His infectious smile and inquiries of and hellos to Chuck were always very special. He will be greatly missed by Mom, Christine Berger, myself and all who had the honor of knowing him. Godspeed dearest Rick.

Rest in Peace Ricky. Your friends on St. Louis Av will miss you. Everyone had to say hi to you when you were in your driveway rocking on your tricycle.
