To the Lofton family,

I am sad to hear about Ricky's passing. My memory of Ricky goes back to the 7o's - a group of us being teenagers going to proms, dances after MHS football games and VSU football/ basketball games. He always displayed a zest for life and I am sure it continued into adulthood judging from the photos online. May God give you the strength and comfort that you need to get through this challenging season of life.

I would like to send my condolences and prayers to Rick's family. We were co-workers at D-19 and he always treated the clients with so much care and compassion. Rick was passionate about helping others. He loved to talk about ideas, martial arts, and his faith. He will certainly be missed.

As new lieutenants in the Army stationed at Fort Knox Rick was a such a good friend at a critical time. His new wife also became a life long friend. He always has a passion for learning and was one of the most intelligent officers I knew. A bright star that burned out too fast!

I was so proud to have Rick come into Prince Hall and my lodge. We bonded while studying many days and nights. My favorite times with Rick was on a boat or the banks of a river fishing. We would always reel in the big ones .... RIP Son

My condolences to the Lofton family on the passing of your love one. May the sweet communion of the HOLY SPIRIT rest on your family at this sad time and always. On my initial meeting of Rick it was a joyful occasion, he made a statement that will forever be in my spirit. Rick thanked me for the assistance on raising our daughter KERI, the three of us attended church together. From that day forward we formed a bond that lasted until his passing.
