Rita Alexander, of Creve Coeur, Missouri, passed away quietly on March 14, 2025, at 89. Rita was born on September 14, 1935, to Kathryn and Edward Meder of St. Louis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Alexander, and her son, David Alexander. She is survived by her children, Steven Alexander, Sandra Alexander (Charlotte), and Matt Alexander (Tina), and grandchildren, Kayla, Lucille, Eleanor, and Cecilia. A memorial service will be held with a Catholic Mass at Incarnate Word, 13416 Olive Boulevard, Chesterfield, MO, on March 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be before mass from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rita's memory to the Saint Louis County Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
