Rita and Walter Kuznar Obituary
Rita was born on September 29, 1930, in Kennan, Wisconsin, to Anton and Caroline Ellman. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse for 43 years. Her career included 23 years at Loretto Hospital in Chicago, working in the psychiatric unit, and 20 years as a charge nurse in intensive care at Good Samaritan Hospital. Her compassion and dedication left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Walter was born on November 29, 1929, in Hawkins, Wisconsin, to Agnes and Peter Kuznar. A good-natured outdoorsman with a passion for sports, fishing, and hunting, Wally enjoyed a successful career as a packaging manager for the Sunbeam Corporation.
Together, Rita and Wally built a life filled with love and laughter. They were devoted parents to their five children: Neal; Alan (Tanya); Mary; Kevin (Christine); and Scott (Jenny). Their five grandchildren-Justin, Marissa, Katelyn, Jacob, and Mackenzie-were their pride and joy. Rita and Wally cherished every call, visit, and shared adventure with their family.
A memorial service honoring their lives will be held on March 22 at Mary Mother of the Church in Burnsville, Minnesota. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer or Parkinsons foundations would be greatly appreciated.
Rita and Wally will be deeply missed by all who knew them. May their enduring love serve as an inspiration to all whose lives they touched.

We played cards together for many years!!! Had such a good time!!! Wally always said to me "why are you laughing, it's not that funny!! Kidding of course!!!! I will miss them!! My prayers go out to the family, God be with you!! Darlene Newman
