Rita Marie Bartes

Rita Bartes, age 74, was welcomed into the Lord's loving arms on May 24th, 2023. She passed away peacefully with her son and daughter at her side. Our mother had a beautiful soul, was kind, compassionate, independent, strong, and a survivor. She was our role model; supportive, our confidant, and best friend who never took a day off from us. Her love was never ending for her family and fur babies, especially her beloved boxer, Roxy. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and the natural beauty of nature. Rita is survived by her son Shannon (Julie Steinle) Bartes, daughter Erin (Dan) Rynders, her older brother Larry (Noreen) Bartes, her two close sisters MaryAnn (the late Chris) Burrill and Pat (the late Denny) Allen, and many nieces and nephews. Although we are deeply saddened by our loss, we are happy her spirit is free to dance in the clouds on high. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
