I have so many fond memories of home ec. class and Mrs. Remavage. She taught us to cook and sew and she also taught us about life. She was a positive role model with a great sense of humor. It is so nice to hear she had a long, happy life. I'm sure her family will miss her terribly. I am so sorry for your loss.

I attended her funeral yesterday and it was such a joy to get updates from Rita Ann, Tommy, Ned, Maureen and Eileen. They visited our home many times during "growing up" years and Mom and Dad treasured her as a good friend. I will always remember Mrs. R's mother doing the Irish Jig for all the children when we visited Professor Norris' and Rita's home at their Mount Saint Mary's home. love to each of the children...Janet Hatter

Mrs R. you were a wonderful teacher and your kindness in 1975 will always be remembered. You were a wonderful lady and the mention of your name at family gatherings or even just on a sunny day brought smiles to all.

Mrs (Remavage) Priest was an excellent Home Economics teacher at Emmitsburg High School. She was a role model for her students. She was an honorable woman! She will be missed by many!

Rita was my teacher during the 1960's ...and a good one she was. Our class appreciated and had much fun in her class as well. She will be missed much.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate Rita's long and productive life. I appreciate the great care that she demonstrated to Granddad throughout their marriage, the model of marriage that they provided to others, and the unquestionable love that she had for her children. I will remember the offers of "a little snackeroo" or "a coca cola" she extended during each visit. I wish you all peace as you process Rita's passing.
