Rita was a great person whom we will miss very much. A friendship that started in our school days, that carried over to our adult lives. We have fond memories of playing cards with Rita and Dave every weekend in the early years of our marriage. Always looked forward to see what mischief JD and Jeff were getting into. Please accept our condolences to all.

We have known the Sievertson family for many years. We are sorry to hear of Rita's passing. While in public office she was always helpful and patient with answering our questions. J.D. , Jeff and families, remember all the good things for they will give you comfort at this sad time and for many years to come. Peace and Blessings, Dan & Eva Poe and family.

Rita was my very best friend. We were friends from the time our boys were in grade school until now. We have shared so many memories and happy times together. I will treasure them all. I could always talk to her anytime about anything. She was like a sister, but better. She has helped me though many times of need from typing my papers for me when I was getting my masters degree, through the loss of my son. So many times I looked to her for kind words and encouragement. She was Always there for me and I was for her. I loved our lunchtimes every week during summers off and after I retired from teaching. I will miss her terribly. I loved her so much.

My heart goes out to the Sievertson family. Rita was a dear sweet friend & classmate from 1st grade until we graduated in 1967. We were Cheerleaders & Majorettes & in each others Weddings. She loved her husband David (the love of her life), her sons & her grandkids very much.
Rita wanted to be a writer even in the 4th & 5th grades she would write plays in the summer time. I always admired her for what she had done in her lifetime. Rita will be greatly missed.
I'm out of town so unable to attend her funeral but I am so glad I got to see her again on Dec 31st. She will never be forgotten. I'll keep all of you in my prayers during this time. Miss you Rita!

Rita and I started to school together in 1955 in Morgantown. Rita was a sweet soul and a very intelligent Lady. We were Varsity Cheerleaders and Majorettes. She married the love of her life Dave, and had two sons, JD and Jeff whom she was very proud of. She adored her grandchildren, Sydney, Whitney and Ronan. Very active in Republican Party and held offices as Township Assessor and County Treasurer. Very proud that she was involved in Politics and a strong member of the Republican Party. She took her offices very seriously and proudly. Rita was good at all her endeavors. I was always proud to be her friend. She has left me with many good memories! Rita will always be in my heart. She touched my life and I am proud to have known and loved this special Lady. My deepest sympathy to all her loved ones. She will be missed but never forgotten!

My deepest condolences regarding your loss. My family became friends with the Sieverton family in the mid 1960's. We thought alot of Paul and Louise. Rita always had a big smile on her face when she would come see David. She definitely loved him.

Rita will be remembered for her sweet and gentle kindness to others. She will be missed.

J.D., Jeff, Sydney, Whitney, Ronan and Maria I am so sorry to hear about Rita's passing. We have been friends since 3rd grade. We've had lots of good times and some bad times. The past couple days I have had many flashbacks of our times together. I will miss her terribly. Grief never leaves completely, you just learn to live with it. I will continue to have all of you in my prayers.
