Rita Zintgraff Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 30, 2024.
Rita A. Zintgraff, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024, at the age of 94. She was born on April 27, 1930, in Brush, Colorado, to a family that would shape her into the warm, loving, and strong woman many came to know and cherish.

Rita was the widow of Robert E. Zintgraff, with whom she shared a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. Together, they raised two sons, Sam Zintgraff II and Robert J. Zintgraff, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Rita's family was the center of her world, and she found immeasurable joy in watching her sons grow, and later, in being surrounded by her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Sam Zintgraff II (spouse Janice Zintgraff) and Robert J. Zintgraff (spouse Jeri Zintgraff), as well as her beloved grandchildren: Drake P. Zintgraff, Zachary B. Zintgraff, Nicholas R. Zintgraff, and Shannon M. Zintgraff.

Throughout her life, Rita was known for her kind heart, her devotion to her family, and her unwavering support for those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and grace that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on 1/25/25 at noon at 30824 La Miranda in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice in Rita's name.

May Rita rest in peace, reunited with Robert in heaven and forever remembered by her family and friends.
