Smooger was one of the greatest guys I´ve ever met. When I was a teen, and having a rough patch in life he was there to be a solid rock to help guide me. He taught me so much, was always cool, calm, and collected when I just couldn´t get it. There will never be another man as amazing as Rich, or as perfect a mentor, as I never knew I needed him to be. Sailing, working on boats, talking about life, or just meeting up for some BBQ, he could always be counted on to be there.
