My name is C. H. Harvey the founder and organizer of the Texas Independent Six Man Football Bowl Series. I´ll never forget the day I called Shea to tell him Morton Qualified to play for the Texas State Championship of the Independent Six Man Football Series. I think he originally thought it was a joke. Once he realized it was the "Real Deal" I could visualize him doing handstands and back flips. He said yes! But he needed to call back in a few minutes, which he did, accepting. The invitation. Most of you know the rest of the story. Morton came to Gholson and left State Champion! Over these past years I have had many opportunities to talk and visit with him, A finer man I´ve never known. 100% dedication and love for his family and kids. He will be missed but never forgotten.
