Robert Albert

Robert Alfred "Bob" Albert passed away on March 10, 2025, in Concord, New Hampshire. Born on January 6, 1946, in Laconia, New Hampshire, Bob lived a life marked by dedication to his craft, love for his family, and an enduring passion for New England sports.

Bob attended school in Laconia before embarking on a distinguished career as a Master pipefitter. For over fifty years, he installed fire protection systems throughout New England, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike. As the owner of his own business, he took great pride in working alongside his sons and his brother Walter "Babe" Albert, passing down his knowledge and expertise to the next generation.

In 1963, Bob joined the Navy, serving his country with honor. His time in the military instilled in him a strong sense of discipline and camaraderie that remained with him throughout his life.

Bob was a devoted father to Robert Summers, Joshua Albert, Zachary Albert, zeb Albert and Jillian Parker. He shared a lifelong friendship with Christine Come, the mother of his four children. He was also a beloved brother to William "Billy" Albert and Eddie Albert. His family extended beyond immediate relatives to include many nieces, nephews, and cherished grandchildren who brought him great joy.

He was predeceased by his son Zeb Albert; his brothers Walter "Babe" Albert and Richard Albert; and his sister Peggy Albert.

A passionate sports fan, Bob found immense joy in cheering for New England teams. Whether it was the Celtics on the court, the Red Sox at Fenway Park, or the Patriots on game day, he followed them all with enthusiasm. However, nothing compared to his love for hockey-his favorite team being the Boston Bruins.

In his later years, Bob treasured time spent with close friends Bob Stevens and Lyla; Frenchie and Marylou; Jeff Ellis; and many more who enriched his life with laughter and companionship.

Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A service to honor Bob's life will be held on April 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery located at 110 Daniel Webster Hwy in Boscawen, New Hampshire.
