Robert Edward Almgren

i had Mr. Almgren as my 8th grade teacher back in 1992. It was a fun class (in my opinion). Good educators are hard to find and he is and will be sorely missed.

Dear Almgren family,

Though it has been 30 years since I was a student of Mr. Almgren at Clement, he just came to mind today, so I googled him to sadly learn that he passed recently.

However, I wanted to let you know that I thought he was a great teacher, who really enjoyed what he did. Granted I was not an exemplary student (is any middle schooler?), and I often "bought an hour" of detention for goofing off in his class, but his impact still lasts with me.

I hope you are all doing well and continuing to grieve your loss in a healthy way, even a couple years into life without him.
