I am deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was one of those guys that, even though life takes you in separate directions, you fondly remember. Like many, Bob and I got to know each other through our son's sports teams. As they got older the number of seasons we shared as sports parents began to add up and we developed a friendship. It was easy to be friends with Bob because that's the kind of guy he was. He always had positive and complimentary things to say, regardless of what happened on the field. After our sons were grown, we moved on and didn't see much of one another. But every now and then, I think back about Bob and have a quiet laugh to myself about some of our conversations. His passing won't change that. Rest in peace buddy.

There are never words good enough to describe the loss of a loved one, especially when we type and cry at the same time, so please know that we share good thoughts, and tears of love and sorrow with you and your family. Bob was a remarkably smart, witty and wonderful person.
