Learned today of Bob's passing in the SU Alum Zine and remembering good times at his Long Island Home, and his kindness in fixing-up an archi-geek with his first kiss at the ripe old age of 25! Also remembering our canoe trip back into the semi-wilds of the Adirondacks, and his voice from the tent in the middle of the night on a small island: "Is that a wolf?" Blessings to his entire family from all his night-owl friends from Slocum Hall at SU. Alan Scouten

Scott, Lori & Kristie,
I was so sorry to hear about your Dad's illness and his passing - he was so fun loving. We always had a great time playing Vollyball at the School in Centerville/Hugo with him and a good number of the Cain Ouse Associates employees (about 20-24 years ago). My sympathy and love to all of you - Your Dad will be missed!

Scott, Lori and Kristie,
Sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I have fond childhood memories of growing up accross the street from your family, and remember him as kind man.

Bob has been a member of the Gargoyle Club since 1975. Founded in 1903 the club is a social organization for architects and draftsmen. Bob was generous enough to pick me up at home and take me to our meetings and events when I was having certain personal problems. We will miss his leadership AND friendship.
Jerry Perkins, president, Gargoyle Club of Saint Paul.

To the Armbruster Family: I met Bob about 4 months ago at the monthly lunch of current and former State Architect employees.
I found him to be a person one could immediately like as he was
sincere. warm and had a great sence of humor. I was shocked to
hear of his passing and I extend my sympathy to the family.

Armbruster Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I have known Bob for the past 25 years, as a fellow architect and member of the Gargoyle Club of St. Paul. I worked with Bob back in the 80's at Wold A&E. He had a great wit and sense of humor. I wish you all peace; God bless.

Scott, Lori and Kristie
I am very sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I have helped your dad with his financial planning the past 15 years and greatly enjoyed his friendship and the time we spent together. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
