Robert Atkins

Coach Atkins was very influential in my life. His investment and faith in me as a 19 year old player helped shape me for the rest of my life. I learned more about baseball from him than any other coach I had and he was responsible for the scholarship I received to play Division I baseball. I will always remember him and his competitive nature and desire to see young baseball players get the most out of their ability. I will be praying for the family that the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Great English teacher (helped get me through RU), great football coach (led by example) and a great role model. He added value to so many lives ... a life well lived.

Great coach and class guy all around. Impacted my life in a very positive way. Loved the way he would bark my given name (Francis) when we were on the practice field. Amicable and kind when I would run into him at Walled Lake HS football games.
