ROBERT BAIERL Obituary
Age 69, of Bradford Woods passed away on June 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband for 48 years of Cathy Baierl; son of Jane and the late Robert I Baierl; loving father of Robert C. (Kimberly) Baierl Jr.; brother of Joy (Ken) Chard, Barb (Criag) Yarde, Jean Barnes, and Lee (Susan) Baierl; grandfather of Grant, Andrew and Grace. Survived by many nieces and nephews. His life was defined by a "road less travelled" and that meant not necessarily easy, his fierce and passionate love for his family, and his commitment to always do the right things in work, play, and life. A lifetime of days of "gain … not loss; good, not evil; success, not failure". Family will hold a private memorial service at SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer, 126 Nagel Rd., Fombell, PA 16123 (www.ycampkok.org) or a charity of your choice. Please offer condolences at

Hello all and my sincerest sympathy to the entire family. I just learned of Rob's passing from Aunt Jane. Irma, Michelle and I saw Rob at Aunt Jane's big birthday celebration in Wexford and he, as always, was such a gentleman.
Rob took the time to acknowledge us and made us feel so welcome. I am sure this has been a very difficult time for all of you.
My prayers to the family, and a special hug to Aunt Jane.

We have lost a Great Man, Son, Nephew, Brother, Cousin & Father! God has gained a Great Servant! He unites with his father, Bob, Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Mike and other family members of his family who have preceded him.
The West Coast Clan sends Prayers Today, Tomorrow during the services and in the coming months for all of us that walk the path on this earth as we morn Rob's passing.

God bless Bob,Cathy and the entire Baierl family. He was one of my first friends in Pittsburgh and was my best man. His big heart and kind soul which lives within the Baierl family will be greatly missed.
