Robert Baldwin, Sr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 2 to Mar. 3, 2023.
Bob passed peacefully with his family by his side on February 16, 2023. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and faithful U.S. Marine until the end. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Angelina Rose Sorbello, his father, William E. Baldwin, Sr., and his siblings, William, Marian (Cronan) and George. Bob spent 50 blissful years with his loving wife, Debbie Baldwin (nee Rajkowski). Bob and Debbie were married for 47 of those 50 years. During those years, they created an amazing life and legacy including their three sons, Robert Jr. (Lisa), Michael (Melissa) and Matthew. But Bob's greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren, Matthew Jr., Benjamin, Angelina, Elizabeth, Stella and Robert III. There are few things in life that Bob loved more than being a husband and a father, but his grandchildren were it. Bob was a caring uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Bob served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970 and is still friends with many of his USMC brothers. Bob was the founder of Baldwin Electrical Construction and the member of many communities and organizations including District Council 47 and North Catholic graduation class of 1968 where he made lifelong friends. Bob will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Memorial services will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Bob's memory to the Veteran's Multi-Service Center, 213-217 N. 4th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
