I met Bob at 1975 Pre-Olympic tournament in Montreal Canada.
I called out to him and he came over smiling,talked and I made him laugh with a joke.
What a great guy as all of us lifters knew so well.

The article captured Bob's greatness. Well done. Very well done. Right now I am thinking back on the time I lifted against Bob in Boston where I believe he totalled 1,000 for the first time. What a lifter.
