RIP Bob. It is so ironic that you died doing the thing you liked to do the most. I’ll never forget the day that you gave me your bike that was stolen after you found it somewhere. You got me interested in biking again. I was so proud of you when my parents told me you became a small town doctor. Just like you always told me you would do. Sounds like you gave unselfishly to people who needed your care. The world lost a caring doctor too soon.

I have many fond memories of Dr. Bob that I will cherish forever. He was a wonderful boss, mentor and friend. I will miss his words of encouragement and especially him calling out "PamB" at the office. I will continue to make him proud in everything that I do for The Bernstein Hilliker Hartzell Eye Center - today, tomorrow and forever. To Nancy, Tamara, Charles, Brian and Nicholas - I know that each of you have many precious memories - reflect on them, keep them close to your heart and they will help you through the difficult days ahead.
