Robert Betts was one of the coolest people I will ever know. He was always able to make me laugh, had the most clever and witty sense of humor of any person I ever knew. He may have been the only person I will ever know that truly understood the vast majority of my journey through life and I also understood his as we'd been through so many similar experiences. We could discuss things together that would have most other peoples eyes glazing over.
Dad, you will never, ever be gone, you are with me forever and the paths I walk will never be far from the ones you would be walking if you could. I'm proud to be your son and more than that, I'm proud to have been your friend.
