Robert Biggar Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 3 to Mar. 5, 2024.
Palm Beach Gardens - It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Joseph Biggar announces his passing on February 19, 2024. Robert was born in Northridge, California on September 20, 1969, and grew up in Chappaqua, New York. Bob died peacefully in his sleep of an undiagnosed heart condition.

Bob was a gifted athlete and played football and lacrosse at Horace Greeley High School and Bridgeton Academy. He graduated from Washington College in 1992, where he played on the men's lacrosse team. But Bob found his true passion in golf, beginning with his family on his home course of Whippoorwill in Armonk, New York. He spent most of his adult life working in the golf industry in the Palm Beach area. Bob was charismatic, known for his quick wit, captivating smile, and his truly kind heart. He made friends everywhere he went and was always ready to share stories. Bob loved getting together with the whole Biggar family in Truro, Massachusetts, where he always fit in a few early morning rounds at the Highland Links. He was a tireless spirit and a fierce competitor with a great love for life.

Bob is predeceased by his father, Charles Patrick Biggar, and is survived by his mother, Mary Patricia Biggar, as well as his siblings, Charles Patrick Biggar, Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Bluffton, South Carolina; David James Biggar and his wife, Elisabeth, of Pleasantville, New York; Judith Biggar-Maguire and her husband, John, of Ridgefield, Connecticut; James Kelly Biggar and his wife, Kate, of Phoenix, Maryland; Mary Biggar Evnin and her husband, Timothy, of Bedford, New York; and Daniel Rayner Biggar and his wife, Joanne, of Erie, Colorado. "Uncle Bob" is also survived by and will be missed by his seventeen nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.
