Robert Billa Obituary
Robert (Bob) James Billa, 68, born in Chicago on August 20, 1953 and was a longtime resident of Yorba Linda, California. Bob peacefully passed away December 18, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
He retired in June, 2021, after a 42-year career in commercial and residential construction. Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents, Shirley and Robert Billa, and survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Kathy; was the loving stepfather of Jill (Andrew) Knowles, John ( Kirsa) Dosemagen; much loved Grandpa Bob of Aidan, Maia and Declan Knowles and Leah, John and Kayla Dosemagen; brother of Michael (Ewa) Billa, Richard (Barbara) Billa, and Susanne (Donald) Hitzel. brother-in-law of Audrey (Michael) Janicki, Susan (Fred) Bau, Joel (Yau-Ling) Janicki, and James (Mena) Janicki.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 5, 2022 at 1pm at the McMurrough Funeral Chapel in Libertyville, IL.
In honoring Bob's wishes, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society. Link below:
