Bob Husband was a teacher in my High School. He was always one of the kindest, smiling adults in the school. But never a "pushover" as a teacher. His mother was a teacher of mine that I loved dearly and was great at her job. Tough, fair and caring. I also was lucky to count Mr Husband's sister, Lynn, as a friend. Also one of the kindest people I know. I bought my first car, a pinto station wagon, from Mrs. Husband's. Thank God this family was gifted to those of us in Waycross. God bless and be with them all, in this difficult time. He's now smiling down at you.

The Class of 74 Waycross High School, Waycross, Georgia would like to send our deepest sympathies and love to our classmate, David Husbands, in the death of his older brother. Bob was a teacher and friend to the students of Waycross High. He was a beloved educator. Our freshman yearbook, TURPICONE 1971, had Bob´s faculty photos. He was the art instructor.

One of the kindest and most generous people I ever knew and I am only sorry I lost touch with Bob later in life. The world is assuredly a better place because of Bob.
