When you came to visit Colorado last year you made friends everywhere you went. I'll never forget how as we were waiting for road work to be done while heading up to Estes Park, we were stopped for 15 minutes and you were walking around picking up rocks looking for fossils. You walked up to a man stretching his legs and began a conversation. That sweet southern drawl and deep soft voice pulled people in. You were so excited to try new things. Kelly was my childhood friend and she brought you into my life. YOU became a cherished friend. Rest Peacefully dear David.

The world lost a kind soul with the passing of Dave. He had kind words and love for everyone he met. Truly he was a blessing to his friends and his family. He will be missed.

David, I still am numb about you passing...But, I know you are not in pain any longer. I loved our conversations, our very long conversations...You were such an honorable, kind and gentle person who gave the best hugs and shoulder massages ever.
