Robert BOURGET Obituary
1924 - 2015
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Bourget on March 28, 2015 in Pointe Claire, QC. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Cecilia Page Bourget, daughters Elizabeth McNeill (William Douglas), Arlington, VA, Jane Kivisto (Pentti), Sudbury, ON and Roberta Bourget (John Harold), Slough, England, his sister Ann Luby, Simsbury, CT and grandchildren, Victor Kivisto, Juhani Kivisto and Jacob Fortin as well as 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Paul Blagdon Bourget and Gladys Chaloner Bourget and his granddaughter Kristine Kivisto. The family extends its thanks to the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteer workers at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their tireless efforts, excellent care and compassion. A Celebration of His Life will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC, (514) 685-3344 / www.rideaumemorial.com. Donations to Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation and Auxiliary or to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.

My memory of Mr. Bourget was of a distinguished well spoken gentleman. And I have no doubt that he was an outstanding father as well, his daughter Beth was an exceptionally fine person. Mr. Bourget's passing is a sad event for his family and friends, but his longevity certainly is commendable. God bless him and his family.
