Robert Boyajian Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 5, 2025.
Robert Edward "Bob" Boyajian passed away on July 12, 2025. He was born December 14, 1950, to Helen and Edward Boyajian in Fresno, California. Bob was a prominent and respected member of the real estate community as a real estate broker, general contractor, and property manager in the Central Valley. He was well-known for his real estate expertise, as a builder of quality homes, and his generosity. Bob was in the real estate business for 50 years and was a general contractor for 44 years. He was a long-time member of both the Association of Realtors and of the California Building Industry Association. Previously, he had offices in Southern California, Oakhurst, Madera, and Aptos.

Bob learned the value of hard work at a young age as he worked for his father in the family's business, Certified Cesspool Company. He graduated from McLane High School and California State University, Fresno. Bob was an avid sports fan and fisherman. He served in the California National Guard as a mess sergeant and was an excellent cook who enjoyed hosting his family and friends.

Bob was very devoted to his parents and lovingly cared for them as they advanced in age. He spoke often of the lessons learned from his parents and of his love of family. He was especially fond of his aunt Rose Avakian and uncle Victor Avakian.

Bob is survived by his brother William Boyajian (Joyce), niece Rebecca Boyajian Pecnik (Richard), nephew David Boyajian, cousins Vernon Avakian (Lillian), Patricia Avakian Greenberg (Robert), Diane Conrad (James), and Eugene Tafjen.

Funeral services will take place at 10 AM on August 15, 2025, at the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church in Fresno. Yost and Webb is in charge of arrangements. In honor of Robert's memory, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church or other charities of your choice.
