Robert Martin Boyce

Robert Martin Boyce, of Bakersfield, CA, passed away on October 30, 2023, with his family by his side. Robert, fondly known as Bob, was born to Robert and Bertha Boyce on January 21, 1955. He grew up in Bakersfield and Arroyo Grande, California. In 1975, he married his high school sweetheart, Jill Boyce, and they had two children, Jamie and Robert. Bob turned out of the I.B.E.W. Local #428 apprenticeship program in 1982. He was the business manager for Local #428 from 1983 to 1993 and worked as a journeyman electrician until retirement. He is survived by the love of his life, Jill, sister Cindy Peterson, mother-in law Barbara, brother-in law Jack and wife Kim Bellows, his children, Jamie Boyce and Robert Boyce, and their significant others, Jayson Loth and Elizabeth Boyce. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Trenton, Nathan, Jacob, Brandon, and Riley, and three great-grandchildren, Cooper, Tenacious, and Marceline.
