Robert Brobeck Obituary
Robert proudly served aboard the USS Essex CVA-9, and after his service came to Tucson in 1957 where he met and married the love of his life, Marialene (Goodwin). He was a Telephone Pioneer; among their service projects was building the Nature Trail at Saguaro National Monument West. He retired from AT&T in 1986 after a 33-year career. He was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge and a charter member of Power From The Past, an antique tractor and gas engine club. Together they were also devoted members of St. Mark's Church for over 35 years.
Robert's legacy lives on through his children, Lisa (Clark) of Indiana, and Eric; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Marialene, his beloved wife of over 51 years, in 2014. He is also survived by his sister Myrna (Sterling) and brother Kenny, of Idaho.
Interment services with honors will be held at the Veteran's Cemetery in Marana, Arizona, at 10am on January 13th, 2025. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the St. Mark's Bell Choir or the children's charity of your choice. The Brobeck family once again extends our heartfelt gratitude to Casa de la Luz Hospice.
Robert will be remembered for his dedication to family, community, and service. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

Bob was such a joy to be around. He truly was dedicated to serving his community, his friends and his family. I will miss our chatty visit by phone and his fellowship at our Pioneer luncheons. It was an honor to know him. RIP, Bob.
