Robert Brown-John Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 23, 2012.
Robert "Bob" Harry Roy Brown-John (Nov. 18, 1943 – Apr. 22, 2012) - After a long struggle with COPD Bob Brown-John passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Mariposa Gardens, Osoyoos, B.C. at the age of 68. Loving friend and partner to Kathrine Delisle. He will be missed by his children and their families and sister, Eileen Baker. Bob had a mining degree and owned his own company in Vancouver. He operated heavy equipment and did excavations all over Boundary Country. He was involved with 4H Lamb Club and was extremely knowledgeable and did a lot of reading to improve his mind. A family gathering will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the BC 4-H Provincial Council, 2743 - 30th Street, Vernon, B.C. V1T 5C6, 1-866-776-0373 would be appreciated by the family.

I am shocked. Bob and I spent time visiting and hanging out at Aunty Nellie and Uncle Roy's thirty-eight years ago when I was living in Vancouver and working at Safeway. He spent some time in Likely when I was a teenager also. My heart goes out to his family. What an interesting man. I hope to meet some of you at the 100 year anniversary. Aunt Victoria
